Feed The City is a 501© 3 non-profit organization. FTC has been feeding the needy since 2006. We have expanded our boundaries to meet the growing needs of families throughout our fine city. We have expanded our feeding program in Louisville & Southern Indiana. We feed the public daily, Monday-Saturday from 12 noon to 3:00pm. We also have a clothing closet for those that are in need of clothing. We also give emergency food box away for families in their time of crisis (loss of job, fire, death etc). 

We have exciting news about our Summer Feeding Program.                  Our Summer Feeding Program  will begin in June .From 11:00am to 2:30pm, Monday thru Saturday. Please call us if  you have questions or you may go directly to our  website at  www.feedthecityky.com.

Feed the City, Inc. is a 501© 3 organization led by Executive Director Larry D. Coleman. FTC is located at 1100 So. 26th Street, Louisville, KY 40210 EIN: 80-0521630. Our non-discriminatory, community-based services are provided free of charge with no regards to a person race, creed, age, or religious background. Our mission is to assist those in need of food and clothing throughout Louisville, Kentucky and Southern Indiana. We have a passion for outreach and are excited to serve our community in the following ways:

· We offer hot meals to needy families Monday to Saturday from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m.
· We provide an Emergency Food Box to families needing urgent assistance.
· We participate in the Summer Lunch Food Program to kids in both Kentucky & Indiana
· We partner with Dare-to-Care Food Bank and Kentucky Harvest
· We have a clothing closet open Monday through Saturday from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m.

We are gearing up for our Annual Family Day Festivity Event that will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 1 p.m. - 3p.m. This event will include: A New Bike Give away for Needy Children, Easter Baskets, A Resurrection Easter Egg Hunt, Food Box Give away, Games & much more! The sign up for this event will be Friday, March 20, 2015 at 7 p.m. here at  Feed the City, located at 1100 So. 26th Street. (corner of Grand Avenue)

If you would like to make a donation to this event, we are in need of: 

 * New Bicycles and/or Sponsors for New Bicycles
 * Palstic Eggs (our goal is to fill 25,000 Easter Eggs)
 * Candy
 * Kid's Clothing (t-shirts, undergarments, socks, etc.)
 * Gift Cards
 * Volunteers are always needed

We are striving to Restore, Revitalize and Renew the community in which we serve. How? Glad you asked; by outreach and cleaning up the community at large, asking the council people in district 1 to help us with the abandon housing issues and place garbage containers throughout West louisville. This will help us keep our city free of Trash. (Litter Bugs)
